Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

A non-surgical solution for men and women with thinning hair, bald spots, or receding hairlines. Tiny pigment dots replicate natural follicles, creating the look of thicker, fuller hair. Seamless, undetectable, and low-maintenance with long-lasting results.

Procedure

Once healed, the scalp appears fuller and denser, with the look of natural hair follicles or a clean buzz-cut finish.

Result

Lip blushing results can last between 1 to 3 years, depending on individual factors. Periodic touch-up sessions can help maintain the color and shape.

After care

First 4 days

  • Keep scalp dry (no washing, sweating, or touching).

  • Avoid sun, hats that rub, and scratching.

Days 5–7

  • Avoid workouts, swimming, and sauna.

Days 8–14

  • Wash lightly with mild shampoo.

  • Apply moisturizer if dry.

  • Avoid shaving until fully healed.

After 14 days

  • Resume normal activities.

  • Always use SPF to protect pigment.

  • Plan maintenance touch-ups every few years.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can Scalp Micropigmentation help with hair loss?
Yes. SMP is designed to give the look of fuller, denser hair or a clean buzz-cut style, making it an effective solution for thinning hair, receding hairlines, or complete baldness.

2. Does the procedure hurt?
A numbing solution is applied before the procedure. Most clients describe the sensation as light pressure or mild discomfort, but it is generally well tolerated.

3. How long does it take and how long does it last?
Depending on the size of the area, each session lasts 2–4 hours. Multiple sessions are usually needed. Results typically last 4–6 years before a refresh is recommended.

4. Do I need a touch-up?
Yes. A series of 2–3 initial sessions is standard for the best, most natural results. A maintenance session may be needed after several years as the pigment gradually fades.
