Permanent Makeup (PMU) eyeliner is a popular cosmetic procedure that involves tattooing a semi-permanent pigment along the upper and/or lower lash lines to create the appearance of perfectly defined eyes
The results of PMU eyeliner can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Touch-up sessions are recommended to maintain the color and shape as the pigment fades over time.
Gentle Cleaning: Clean the eyeliner area with a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser or saline solution using a clean cotton pad or Q-tip. Do this twice a day for the first few days.
Avoid Eye Makeup: Refrain from using eye makeup, including mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow, on the treated area during the healing process.
No Contacts or False Lashes: Avoid wearing contact lenses or false eyelashes for a few days after the procedure.
Protect from Water: Keep the area dry. Avoid swimming, hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms.
1. Will the procedure be painful?
Not at all. We apply a high-quality topical numbing cream before and during the procedure to ensure your comfort. Most clients describe the sensation as a light tickle or gentle scratching.
2. How long will the results last?
PMU eyeliner can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and skincare routine. A color refresh (touch-up) is recommended every 12–24 months to maintain the intensity.
3. What can I expect during the healing process?
After the procedure, it’s normal to experience mild swelling, tightness, or tenderness for the first 1–2 days. The healing process typically lasts 5 to 10 days, during which the liner may appear darker before it softens into its final look.
4. When can I wear eye makeup again?
To avoid irritation and infection, we recommend avoiding all eye makeup (especially eyeliner and mascara) for at least 7 days post-procedure. You may return to your normal makeup routine after the healing period is complete.
